We updated our VIP page and added links to your profile and activities to gain points.
And new VIP Codes for free points are available now.
From Borderlands.com:
Members of the Vault Insider Program rejoice! You can now spend your points on legendary weapons, Borderlands 3 Vault Hunter heads and skins, and other great rewards.
Assuming you’re one of the many Vault Insiders who has been saving up points to buy awesome in-game items, today is the day you’ve been waiting for! VIP Season 1 is officially underway, unlocking new rewards including desktop and mobile wallpapers, fan favorite weapons, and custom skins and heads for Borderlands 3 Vault Hunters Amara the Siren and Moze the Gunner.
A special legendary Maliwan gun for Borderlands 3 is also available as a VIP reward. To unlock it you need to claim at least eight other VIP reward guns; these can include any combination of those that you redeem points for, those that you receive from Weaponizers, and even the special Children of the Vault Borderlands 3 gun that’s included in the Early Adopter Pack. For more information, check the VIP rewards page.
The prices for the new VIP rewards are as follows:
Wallpapers
• Desktop: 500 points
• Mobile: 500 points
Borderlands 3
• Vault Hunter Skin: 3000 points
• Vault Hunter Head: 4000 points
Borderlands 2 / Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
• Weapon: 4000 points
Why are guns so expensive when you can get them in-game for free? We’re glad you asked.
In-game, the weapons being offered here are fan favorites that are typically not easy to get your hands on. As such, they command a premium price tag when you choose to add them to your arsenal as VIP Rewards. These are the weapons that we’re talking about:
Borderlands 2
Hellfire
Veruc
Norfleet
Lyuda
Pitchfork
Mongol
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Absolute Zero
Ol' Painful
Torrent
If you’re less concerned about choosing specific guns and are looking for a cost-effective way to unlock the legendary Maliwan gun for Borderlands 3, you can add one randomly selected gun from the above list to your arsenal using the VIP Season 1 Weaponizer. All the items in a Weaponizer have an equal chance of being randomly selected, so those listed above each have a 1-in-9 chance of dropping. Note that you can only use the VIP Season 1 Weaponizer once.
Additional rewards and Weaponizers will be added when VIP Season 2 starts in July, at which time all the VIP Season 1 rewards will still be available.
